Robin Krause, President
Robin is the Immediate Past President of MSBA, and was President from 2007-2008. He has been on the MSBA board of directors since 2003, initially serving as the Region 5 Leadership Development Chair before being elected as MSBA Vice-President in 2005. Robin has been a member of the Knob Noster board of education since 1999.

Carter Ward, Chairman of the Board
Carter Ward is the Executive Director of the Missouri School Boards Association and has served in that capacity since 1983. During his tenure Dr. Ward has initiated an extensive array of innovative member-services and positioned MSBA as a national leader in the development of technology-related programs for schools. Dr. Ward has dedicated his professional life to provide for the children of Missouri a quality public education in secure surroundings. Under his leadership MSBA has brought together not only educators but law enforcement and community groups to promote a safe environment for our school children.

Bill Hess

Peggy Taylor
Peggy assumed the office of MSBA President in February, 2009 upon the sudden death of Paul Morris of Mt. Vernon. She has served on the Nixa school board for 24 years, serving as both President and Vice President of the board. Peggy has been on the MSBA board of directors for 3 years, serving as an officer and as the Region 10 Governmental Relations Chair.

Dave Wright
Dave Wright is currently serving as MSBA President-Elect and has served on the board of directors for the past two years. He is in his 9th year on the Blue Springs Board of Education where he has served as its President, Vice-President, and Treasurer. Dave served three years on the MSBA Region 4 Leadership Committee (RLC) and has served on several state-wide MSBA committees.

George Koontz
George is completing his 7th year on the MSBA board of directors and his 3rd on the executive committee. He is president of the Scotland County R-1 board of education where he has been a member for ten years.

Vic Lenz
Vic Lenz, Ph.D is serving in his 3rd year on the MSBA Board of Directors as the Leadership Development Chair from Region 7. He has been on the board of education of the Lindbergh School District for 6 years. He has served as vice president for 2 years and as board secretary for 3 years.

Dave Green
Dave has served on the MSBA board of directors for 4 years, acting as the Region 14 Leadership Development Chair. For the past 2 years he has also been a member of MSBA's executive committee. Dave lives in Malden where he has been on the local board of education for 10 years.
